GSO Presents a Free Concert This Saturday as Part of American Legion Celebration of America

The Georgia Symphony Orchestra will be partnering with The American Legion Veterans Memorial 5K Run to present a free concert on the Marietta Square this Saturday, May 27, 2017.

The Symphony will be performing for the first time ever as the GSO Youth and Community Band comprised of musicians from the Georgia Symphony Orchestra, the Georgia Youth Symphony Orchestra, Kennesaw State University, and the Marietta High School Band.  The American Legion Veterans Memorial 5K Run will benefit Georgia soldiers, veterans, and their families.

This concert is made possible by a Cobb Community Impact Grant, awarded through Cobb County and the Cobb Community Foundation to the Georgia Symphony Orchestra.
