LIFE University of Marietta, GA is hosting a back to school community block party this upcoming August and it is an event you don’t want to miss! There will be music, informational sessions, giveaways, bounce house, giant slide, face painting and balloon art. Guests will also be treated to such cookout favorites as hamburgers, veggie burgers and hot dogs.
Participants are eligible for giveaways and drawings with prizes of gift cards, backpacks, iPads, pedometers, scientific calculators, stylus pends, water bottles, t-shirts and school supplies. This event is free admission for the community, youth, and families.
The purpose of the LIFE Back-to-School Community Block Party is for community outreach designed to provide local families with ways to holistically support the healthy development of the community’s children – mind, body, and spirit – and familiarize them with LIFE’s unique vital health philosophy and program offerings.
There will be exhibits and displays at the event which will reflect LIFE’s focus on maximizing health through good nutrition, exercise, positive psychology, positive business, and exercise science.
The event takes place on Saturday, August 2 from 11 to 1 p.m. It is located at the Lyceum Park and Standard Process Amphitheater if weather persists.
