Longtime Metro Atlanta flooring retailer continues its growth with Marietta showroom
Carpet Depot celebrated its Marietta location Tuesday with an official ribbon cutting alongside the Cobb Chamber, team members and members of the local business community.
Located at 47 Gramling Street SE, the Marietta showroom is one of eight Carpet Depot locations serving Metro Atlanta and represents the continued growth of a locally owned flooring company that has served Georgia homeowners for more than 34 years.
Over that time, Carpet Depot has served over 200,000 customers and sold more than 100 million square feet of flooring. Despite its name, Carpet Depot offers much more than carpet. The company specializes in carpet, hardwood, luxury vinyl and laminate flooring with professional installation available.
“We’re proud to officially celebrate our Marietta location and become an even bigger part of the Cobb County community,” said Matt Thomas, Owner. “Our business has grown because we’ve stayed focused on giving customers a great selection, real value and knowledgeable people who will help them find the right flooring for their home.”
That combination of value and personal service has helped build a loyal customer following across Metro Atlanta. Customer reviews regularly praise Carpet Depot team members for their knowledge, patience and responsiveness, along with competitive pricing and professional installation.
The October 6 ribbon cutting brought the Carpet Depot team together with Cobb Chamber representatives and community members to officially welcome the business to the community. Guests were greeted with a fitting red carpet supplied by the flooring experts themselves, along with Carpet Depot-branded beer created for the celebration.
“We’re grateful to the Cobb Chamber and everyone who came out to welcome us,” said Matt Thomas. “Marietta and Cobb County are communities we’re excited to serve for many years to come.”
