The Cobb Chamber will host the 2026 Public Safety Appreciation Luncheon on Monday, October 5 at the Atlanta Marriott Northwest at Galleria. The Public Safety Appreciation Luncheon kicks off the county-wide Public Safety Appreciation Week, Oct.5-9, where the community is invited to show its support and appreciation for the public safety personnel who make Cobb County a safe, enjoyable place to live, work, and play.
At the luncheon, the 2026 Public Safety Awards will be presented, including the Public Safety Employee of the Year, the Award of Valor, Award of Merit, the Leadership & Excellence Award, and the Outstanding Contribution Award. In addition to the awards program, the Cobb Chamber Public Safety Chairman Smyrna Fire Chief Brian Marcos will address the crowd.
Public Safety Appreciation Week, October 5 – 9
Businesses can show their support for Cobb’s public safety agencies and personnel by sharing messages of appreciation on company marquees and signage, offering discounts, or by adopting an agency. If adopting an agency, businesses can send thank you cards, bring drinks and pre-packaged snacks or provide a meal. Businesses can sign up for an agency, using this Google Sheet.

Registration for the Public Safety Appreciation Luncheon is now open at www.cobbchamber.org/events through Sept. 30 at noon. Tickets are $50 for Cobb Chamber members and $75 for non-members.
