The 2nd Annual Taste of South Cobb Mini Taste and Business After Hours will be held on Tuesday, July 8 at the EpiCenter in Austell, from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. During this event, 100 local business owners and neighbors from Powder Springs, Austell and other surrounding cities and counties come together to celebrate their culinary skills.
Heather Garrison, employee of Puckett EMS, attended last year’s Mini Taste & Business After Hours. “I’m here today for networking and tasting all the local food here in South Cobb,” she said.
Guests who attend will enjoy food and drink, music, a silent art auction and a history tour all while networking with other professionals. The speakers, Six Flags President Dale Kaetzel, District Four Commissioner Lisa Cupid and Cobb Chamber COO Sharon Mason will present the past, present and future of South Cobb. WSB-Radio Celebrity and Announcer Condace Pressley will serve as the emcee for the evening.
“There is no better place in this state that is positioned for prosperity than this entire South Cobb area,” said Roy Barnes, a former Georgia governor.
