The Town Center Community Improvement District (CID) announces the launch of its brand-new website: www.towncentercid.com. With a focus on the Town Center community, the CID is excited that the site will not only promote the Town Center area and its attractiveness to visitors, businesses, residents and students as never before, but also keep the public up-to-date on its many beautification and infrastructure projects.
A first for Georgia CIDs
With the home page invitation to “Explore Town Center” the new website provides information on all facets of life in the vibrant, growing community from dining, shopping, lodging and having fun to growing a business. The website represents a unique offering for a community improvement district in that it goes far beyond the scope of its own projects to provide extensive listings, maps and resources for the area as a whole, promoting tourism and usage to the entire metro Atlanta area and beyond. The website also shows visitors traffic patterns in real-time, helping travelers plan their routes.
Using a smart, colorful navigation that is easily navigable, the site provides in-depth information on the many things to do in Town Center, guides on where to eat, shop, enjoy entertainment, access outdoor activities, spend time with family and stay healthy. In addition, all of the CID’s projects, plans and achievements that have made such a robust quality of life possible are described in detail, with beautiful photographs, along with a new blog and access to all of the CID’s social channels.

Project details and area resources
The Town Center CID is successful in the state of Georgia and nationally, thanks to the number and scope of its projects dedicated to improved safety, infrastructure and beautification. The new website provides detailed information about these projects, including their scope, cost and completion dates. High-profile projects include the Zagster Town Center Bike Share Program, the first in the state to be launched by a CID, the Noonday Creek Trail and the Skip Spann Connector, the first lighted bridge in Cobb County set to roll out in April 2016.
The CID also serves as a resource for area businesses, not only by improving Town Center’s access and attractiveness with its projects, but with the community connections it offers as well. The CID helps businesses create cross-promotions, interfacing with Cobb Chamber of Commerce, Cobb Travel and Tourism and local business associations to develop a voice in the community. With its links to helpful resources, regional partners, as well as meeting venues, the Town Center CID site is an important destination page for those doing business in the area or thinking of locating there.

Founded in 1997, the Town Center Community Improvement District is dedicated to the betterment of the Town Center area through transportation infrastructure, safety improvements, beautification and other projects that enhance property value by increasing interest and investment in the community. The Town Center CID utilizes funds from voluntary commercial real estate taxes to implement its projects.
