Strengthening Partnerships

The Cobb Chamber of Commerce and the Cobb County Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB) are proud to announce a new strategic partnership, which will clearly enhance its mission and focus on issues pertaining to economic development.  Beginning Monday, March 29 the Cobb Chamber will provide an executive on loan to fill the vacant Cobb County CVB CEO position.

The Cobb Chamber’s COO Holly Bass will fill the role of CEO, which will take advantage of the synergies of both organizations.

“This is very exciting and we are proud that the Cobb-Marietta Coliseum and Exhibit Hall Authority as well as our Board, the Cobb Chamber and Cobb County found this strategy to be in the best interest of our county,” said Don Geiger, chairman of the Cobb County CVB Board of Directors.

“This is a natural fit and we are excited to help enhance the partnership between the two organizations that are committed to economic development,” said Chairman Rob Garcia of the Cobb Chamber.
