The Cobb County community has business resources at their fingertips thanks to the Cobb County Library Foundation. The foundation is dedicated to increasing the presence of the library and much needed resources in our community through advocacy and fundraising.
As a result of fundraising dollars, there have been technology enhancements in Cobb’s libraries to meet the demand of the rising number of people who need public access to the internet for information and resources. The enhancements have allowed for early and adult literacy stations, portable laptop training labs and E-Government computer stations.
Basic computer classes such as Computer Basics, Internet for Beginners and Email for Beginners are provided free of charge to people of the community. Each class is approximately one hour. Click here for the locations and times of the classes. Class size is limited to nine participants.
E-Government computer stations are also available for library patrons. These stations provide access to potential career opportunities and information that is beneficial to job seekers and business entrepreneurs alike. Contact your local library to check the availability of E-Government stations in your area.
