Cobblestone Golf Course in Acworth has recently been named one of four of metro-Atlanta’s best golf courses, according to a recent article posted on SI/GOLF.com entitled “72 Holes of Great Public Golf in Atlanta.”
Located in the northwest-Atlanta suburb of Acworth and managed by Affiniti Golf Partners, Cobblestone is an upscale municipal course that offers sweeping views of Lake Acworth and affordable daily-fee play to thousands of Atlanta golfers.
Cobblestone Golf Course opened in 1993 and instantly won accolades for its breathtaking layout, including a Four Star rating by Golf Digest and a spot on the Top 100 Courses You Can Play by GOLF Magazine. Cobblestone is also one of Golfweek’s 2011 Best Municipal Courses.
“It is certainly an honor to gain the recognition of SI/GOLF.com as a true public course, with impeccable conditions unrivaled in the area,” says Cobblestone General Manager Terry Harnage. “Cobblestone has always had great bones, but the recent renovation program has really put a luster on the course…it’s a special place now for Atlanta golfers.”
