Saint Leo University to Host Project Management Information Session

st leoSaint Leo University’s Marietta Education Center will host an information session for those interested in the university’s project management graduate and undergraduate programs on Saturday, August 29.

The information session will take place from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the center, 1395 S. Marietta Parkway, Building 300, Suite 104, Marietta, GA 30067.

Dr. LaQue Perkins will share information for current and potential project management students. Saint Leo University offers a Bachelor of Arts in business administration – project management degree and a Master of Business Administration degree with a concentration in project management.

Retired Navy Commander Mike Williams will provide an overview of the Project Management Institute, the importance of the Project Management Professional certification, and the benefits available to veterans.

The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics has predicted excellent job growth for project managers especially in construction and the health care industry. Career tracks for those with degrees can include project coordinator and project scheduler as well as project manager.
