The American Lung Association is hoping YOU will step up to the challenge and become a volunteer for their 10th Anniversary Fight for Air Climb!
Climb Atlanta is a signature event for the American Lung Association. It is a race up 51 flights of stairs at One Ninety One Peachtree Tower on Peachtree Street and will be held on April 16, 2016. Stair-climb events are seeing tremendous success because of their uniqueness and test of one’s physical strength, stamina and lung power. At the start line you will find fitness gurus looking for a new way to challenge themselves, corporate executives climbing to build camaraderie within their office, local fire fighters climbing in full gear, and a family tackling the stairs in honor or memory of someone affected by lung disease.
While participants are training and preparing for their climb, over 100 volunteers are needed to plan for the event, setup the event, and work the event including cleanup afterwards. By participating, you will work hard and have fun, meet new friends, witness the amazing accomplishment of participants reaching their destination, the 51st floor, and support an organization that works to promote healthy lungs and clean air.
