The Center for Family Resources will be holding its 22nd annual Gala Saturday, February 24, 2018 at the Cobb Galleria Centre.

This year, the event will no longer be known by the traditional Red Carpet name and Academy Awards™ theme, but has been re-born as the CFR Winter WONDERland Gala. Complete with an enchanting Winter WONDERland theme, this year’s event will continue the 2017 trend of being held on a Saturday, away from the Oscar™ festivities, and will instead focus on bringing guests a new and exciting experience at the CFR Gala.

The Winter WONDERland Gala will feature live music by the Infinity Show Band, as well as a formal dinner and live and silent auctions. Some of the truly unique new auction items this year include a dining experience with Grant Rivera and Jenn Hobby, a Harlem Globetrotters package, a Tom+Chee food truck event, an African hunting safari for two, and a Braves suite with pre-game activity. In keeping with the new day of the event, the party will be starting later in the evening, with cocktails and registration beginning at 6:15 p.m. and dinner served at 7:30 p.m.

Last year, the formal event brought together more than 500 attendees and raised over $300,000 to support the work of the Center for Family Resources, which focuses on moving Cobb County families out of poverty and homelessness and into self-sustainability. This year, CFR hopes to make the new Winter WONDERland Gala its most exciting and enchanting party to date, as well as its most successful.

Sponsor opportunities for the Winter WONDERland Gala are still available. For more information on sponsorships, please contact Vicky Warr vickywarr@thecfr.org or call 770-428-2601. Tickets for the event can be purchased online at thecfr.org/gala.
