New SharedSpace Cobb to Host Launch Party on March 14

Cobb Launch Party

SharedSpace is extremely excited to announce that our second coworking location has officially opened! Our brand new space is located steps from the Battery and Suntrust Park. We love the energy and excitement that the Battery has brought to Atlanta, and wanted our space to share the same passion for invigorating the local scene. After 6 months of designing and constructing the space, we’re more than ready to service the flourishing community by providing convenient and flexible work space for all types of workers and businesses.

SharedSpace Cobb shares all the benefits of The Battery minus the traffic and parking woes. We’re in the sweet spot where our guests and members can still easily walk to eat, drink, and play while enjoying free parking at SharedSpace. We’re ideally located at the junction of I-285 and I-75, so whether you’re coming from downtown Atlanta or outside the perimeter, our location makes the worst part of your day, your commute, as short as possible!

In the past year and a half since our first SharedSpace location opened, our members have helped define the vibrant community and culture that we have today. This trend continues at Cobb as Digital Crafts code school is helping to fill our 1,200 foot event space training a new cohort of future IT professionals for Syntel. The energy and enthusiasm of the code school has already helped bring our Cobb space to life, turning our brand new building into a living, breathing coworking culture.

At the end of the day, SharedSpace would be nothing without the energy and work of our members. The diversity of the businesses and people in our spaces help break the mold of the typical work week, bringing fun back into your 9 to 5! Although we greatly benefit from the innate diversity of our members and their businesses, they all share the same drive, tenacity and spirit of collaboration that ignites the true spirit of SharedSpace. So if you’ve got a unique flavor that separates you from the competition, come add your own spice to the SharedSpace soup of success!

Our members are amazing, but our staff ain’t too shabby either. Our entire team are Atlanta natives and we pride ourselves on everything SharedSpace, be it our members, our member’s accomplishments, or the space itself. Our GM, Brad Williams, wears a mean mustache and isn’t afraid to use it’s charm on potential new members. His positivity matched with a passion for SharedSpace and our members makes him a formidable force of customer satisfaction. cobb-team-e1520372818699Another smiling face is Savanna Jimenez, one of our Community Managers and a health, wellness, and fitness blogger who just graduated from the University of Alabama. Her fierce passion for people and SharedSpace is only matched by her passion for wellness and healthy living! Last but certainly not least is our Community and Facilities Manager, Charles Teet, whose knack for conquering both technical and facilital problems has earned him the nickname Charlemagne. Now that you’ve met our fantastic team, we’d love to share with you the meat and potatoes of why SharedSpace is the next home for your business!

Designing our Cobb space was both fun and challenging, as we took a more minimalistic approach to the vibe of the space. High industrial ceilings and exposed ductwork in contrast to our rustic wood and steel decor really give our space a unique modern-transitional style. The theme of our space is “open” and the glass walls and natural light really help to liven up the space and literally brighten our days! cobb-barRustic wood doors and awesome new gadgetry help to blend the rustic and modern feel, creating a very relaxed environment without sacrificing the professional feel. Every step of construction was carefully thought out and planned by us and our friends at the Elzen group, and we couldn’t be more proud to showcase what we’ve built!

It’s only been a few weeks since we first opened our doors, but we’re already being immersed in the wide variety of businesses and professionals in Cobb and Smyrna. So if you’re in need of a fun and energizing place to get the job done, come share your success with us at SharedSpace Cobb!

SharedSpace Cobb will be hosting a launch party next week on March 14th to show off the space and celebrate its opening! For more information about the event follow this link: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/sharedspace-cobb-launch-party-tickets-43254784224
