Dr. Holtz recognized the need in Smyrna and the south Cobb area for additional clinical services. “I am thrilled that we have been able to launch these services for our Smyrna community and make those services and our WIC Clinic more accessible.”

Chairman Boyce mention the Special Local Option Sales Tax (SPLOST) program, which provided the primary funding for this building renovation. Additional financial support came from the United State Department of Agriculture (USDA) WIC, Cobb & Douglas Public Health and the City of Smyrna. “This is the kind of project the SPLOST was meant to fund,” said Boyce. “This is another incredible partnership project in Cobb.”
