The Marietta Local then had to create a plan in which they had to expand to a temporary kitchen and hire seasonal staff who took 90% of the catering business out of the restaurant and eliminated unneeded stress. In the 2018 Taste of Marietta, The Marietta Local won the “Big Chicken” award for the fifth year in a row for the best fried chicken in Marietta. The Marietta Local was also recently named as the “Best Breakfast” in Cobb County by the Cobb Life Magazine.
