liveSAFE to Host 34th Annual Tribute to Women of Achievement

liveSAFE Resources will host its 34th Annual Tribute to Women of Achievement on Friday, March 22 at the Cobb Galleria Centre from 6:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.  Honorary Co-Chairs, Mary and Mike Plant and Tribute Co-Chairs, Kim and Michael Paris will host the evening in collaboration with Rhonda Jacobson, Board Chair, and Tracey Atwater, Executive Director.  Fifteen outstanding women leaders from the Metro Atlanta area will be honored for their volunteer commitment to their community, and one will be named “Woman of the Year.”

“We have long admired the important work that liveSAFE Resources does to support victims of domestic violence, sexual assault and elder abuse,” said Michael Paris, Tribute Co-Chair.  “This event offers an opportunity to celebrate incredible women for their outstanding achievement and raise awareness of these important issues.”

“Funds raised at this event provide year-long support for our emergency shelter, transitional housing, counseling and other much needed services for individuals and families,” said Tracey Atwater, Executive Director.  “We are grateful for the longstanding support of our community that helps save lives.”

liveSAFE Resources honors 15 women leaders annually who continuously demonstrate outstanding leadership in their personal and professional endeavors. The women honored this year are leaders in the business, not-for-profit and volunteer sectors and join the prestigious list of more than 600 past honorees who have been recognized for their contributions.
