Our Marquee Monday event series continues with an update from Washington. U.S. Senator Kelly Loeffler joins us on March 9 just a few months into her senate career to share how she plans to represent Georgia on national key issues. Attendees will learn how Sen. Loeffler plans to use her strong business background for her vision and priorities for our state.
Senator Loeffler is the first female senator to represent Georgia in 97 years. She serves on the following committees: Committee on Agriculture, Nutrition and Forestry; Committee on Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions; Committee on Veterans’ Affairs; and the Joint Economic Committee. Appointed by Governor Kemp to fill former Senator Johnny Isakson’s position, Senator Loeffler intends to run in November 2020 to serve out the last two years of Isakson’s term.
