Security Sales & Integration proudly announces the finalists for the 25th Annual SAMMY (Sales and Marketing) Awards. The program is the only one of its kind in the security industry to recognize and honor dealers and integrators for their marketing, business, installation and overall excellence.
SSI received more than 160 entries from installing and monitoring security systems contractors from throughout North America.
This year’s finalists are paced by ADT Commercial and LOUD Security Systems, each with six nominations. ADT’s “large company” nods include Integrated Installation of the Year, Installer of the Year and Overall Integrated Marketing Program. LOUD’s “small to midsize company” categories include Integrated Installation of the Year, Installer of the Year and Overall Integrated Marketing Program. Vector Security received four finalist nods, including Installer of the Year (Large Company) and Overall Integrated Marketing Program. Acadian Total Security is also vying for a SAMMY trophy in four categories, including Installer of the Year (Large Company).
SSI would like to thank the panel of independent judges who evaluated a multitude of entries. These individuals are among the industry’s top marketing and PR professionals. They are: Tom Brigham, principal, Brigham Scully Communi-cations; Jon Daum, partner, Daum Weigle Public Relations; Tory Hinton, director, public relations, Maize Marketing; David Morgan, co-founder, Security Dealer Marketing; Beverly Steinberg, owner, GBL Public Relations; and Chelsie Woods, principal, Eclipse Media Group.
Winners will be revealed during the free, open-to-all ceremony Marcy 17, 4:30-6:30 p.m., at the Venetian Resort Hotel Casino (Marco Polo Room 701) in Las Vegas. SSI will profile the SAMMY winners and finalists in the June issue, and the Installers of the Year and Integrated Installation of the Year case studies will be featured in July’s Best of the Best Issue.
