Cobb CEO partners with District Attorney’s Office for community initiative

The Partnership CEO, Amanda Lucey volunteers with The Cobb County District Attorney’s Office Family Advocacy Center initiative to engage and educate community on family and domestic violence

Amanda Lucey, CEO of The Partnership; a marketing communications agency that specializes in public relations, creative storytelling, web design, and digital development, has joined the Cobb County Family Advocacy Center (FAC) as its volunteer chair of the Community Engagement, Education, and Outreach workgroup. The workgroup is a community initiative geared towards implementing a public safety model that will serve victims of domestic and family violence, child and elder abuse, stalking, and human trafficking.

Contributing support for the FAC initiative, Lucey is responsible for the guidance, support, and execution of media, external communications, social media campaigns, advertising, education, and awareness on domestic and family violence deliverables. In this capacity, Lucey assists in informing and bringing various community, state, and business partners together, developing and spearheading the strategic framework for FAC’s messaging, marketing, and presentations.

The FAC, a community engagement and educational facility, is supported with Victims of Crimes Act (VOCA) grant funds and is tasked with highlighting sexual assault and crime through education, engagement, and outreach of its programming and initiatives.

Working to negate the trauma resulting from being a victim of family and domestic violence,” said Cobb District Attorney, Flynn D.
