Atlanta-area Simon Centers Continue More Than Pink Drive with Susan G. Komen to Reduce Breast Cancer Deaths in the U.S. by 50 Percent by 2026

Lenox Square, Mall of Georgia, North Georgia Premium Outlets and Town Center at Cobb announced today this Spring 2017 More Than Pink movement in support of Susan G. Komen and the fight against breast cancer. As part of a pledge to donate $1 million each year in 2017 and 2018, more than 180 participating Simon Malls, The Mills and Premium Outlets nationwide will be participating in a range of activities during the months of April and May.

“It has been wonderful to see the positive response that the More Than Pink movement has generated over the past year,” said Shelley Korenbrot, director of marketing and business development at North Georgia Premium Outlets. “Our shoppers, retailers and employees have embraced the opportunities we’ve offered to support Susan G. Komen in its tireless efforts to reduce breast cancer deaths, and we look forward to continuing that momentum this year.”

Visitors to the Atlanta-area Simon centers will notice pink themes throughout the properties and staff will be decked out in pink accessories. Shoppers are invited to enjoy the following More Thank Pink activities and deals at Lenox Square, Mall of Georgia, North Georgia Premium Outlets and Town Center at Cobb:

Lenox Square and Phipps Plaza

o    Discount Card Program: In exchange for a $10 donation to Susan G. Komen, shoppers will receive a Discount Card providing 15 to 25 percent off one item at participating Lenox Square and Phipps Plaza retailers. All Discount Card donations will go to Susan G. Komen and be available for purchase through May 31. Cards are available at Guest Services located near Coach at Lenox Square and at Guest Services located near Lilly Pulitzer at Phipps Plaza.

o    Gift with Purchase: Now through May 31, shoppers will receive a gift with purchase when making a donation of at least $10 at Guest Services located near Coach at Lenox Square and at Guest Services located near Lilly Pulitzer at Phipps Plaza.

o    Race For The Cure: Shoppers are encouraged to run with a purpose at Lenox Square’s ‘Race For The Cure’ event on Saturday, June 24. Attendees will have the option to run/walk a one mile or a 5K route and can visit bit.ly/LenoxSGKRace17 for more information and to register.

Mall of Georgia

o    Discount Card Program: In exchange for a $10 donation to Susan G. Komen, shoppers will receive a Discount Card providing 15 to 25 percent off one item at each participating retailer. All Discount Card donations will go to Susan G. Komen and be available for purchase through May 31. Cards are available at Guest Services located on the lower level in Center Court near Old Navy.

o    Gift with Purchase: Now through May 31, shoppers will receive a gift with purchase when making a donation of at least $10 at Guest Services located on the lower level in Center Court near Old Navy.

North Georgia Premium Outlets

o    Discount Card Program: In exchange for a $10 donation to Susan G. Komen, shoppers will receive a Discount Card providing 15 to 25 percent off one item at each participating retailer. All Discount Card donations will go to Susan G. Komen and be available for purchase through May 31. Cards are available at Guest Services located in the Food Pavilion. Discount Cards can also be purchased at Vince Camuto, Papaya and UGG Australia at the center.

o    Free Entertainment: Shoppers can enjoy live music from DJ Crazy Mike on April 15, April 29, May 13 and May 27 from 1-4 p.m. while enjoying enormous savings at participating More Than Pink stores.

Town Center at Cobb 

o    Discount Card Program: In exchange for a $10 donation to Susan G. Komen, shoppers will receive a Discount Card providing 15 to 25 percent off one item at over 30 participating retailers. All Discount Card donations will go to Susan G. Komen and be available for purchase through May 31. Cards are available at the Mall Office located behind Chick-fil-A on Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. – 5 p.m., Saturday from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. and Sunday from noon – 6 p.m. Discount Cards can also be purchased at Brooklynn’s and Fashion-to-Figure in the mall.

As of April 2017, Simon has raised $441,667 in support of Susan G. Komen, all generated through the support and participation of shoppers, retailers and employees.
