Brock Clay Joined by Leading Labor and Employment Attorney, Chuck Bachman

“We are pleased to announce Chuck Bachman has joined the Labor and Employment
practice at Brock Clay Calhoun and Rogers, LLC,” said managing member, Scott
Gregory. Named one of Georgia’s “Legal Elite” by Georgia Trend Magazine in 2009,
Bachman has a broad and well-established practice in the employment law arena.

“Chuck’s significant trial experience, including a jury trial award defending a client
against the federal Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), adds to the
comprehensive legal talent of our team,” added Gregory. “Chuck provides proactive
counseling and advice to employers to develop policies and procedures to avoid
litigation and aggressive and effective representation when litigation does develop.”

Bachman began his career at the firm Seyfarth Shaw, LLP. He was named a partner in
his first year of eligibility and served as the Chair of his practice group’s development
committee for younger attorneys. Bachman is a graduate of Vanderbilt University and
the University of Georgia School of Law.

“It is exciting to join a firm that shares my commitment to providing excellent legal
services to clients as well as to the community in which we live. We are dedicated to
causes where we live, and the organizations that help make our hometown great,” said
Bachman.

Bachman is a member of the 2011 Leadership Cobb Class of the Cobb Chamber of
Commerce. He is active with the First United Methodist Church of Marietta and serves
as the Chairman of the Board of Trustees for the North Georgia Conference of the
United Methodist Church. Bachman, his wife Kelly, and their two children, reside in
Marietta.
