CDH Partners’ Designer Named to AIA Georgia’s 2019-2020 Leadership Class

CDH Partners, an Atlanta-based architecture and interior design firm, is pleased to announce that Heli Shah, Associate AIA, is one of 16 architects and designers selected to participate in AIA Georgia’s Christopher Kelley Leadership Development Program (CKLDP) 2019-2020 Class.

“I am honored to have been chosen as a member of the Christopher Kelley Leadership Development Program and for the opportunity to meet other ambitious professionals in the field,” Heli said. “I look forward to absorbing all the valuable knowledge presented by AIA Georgia and taking my impact on the architectural profession to the next level.”

This competitive program aims to train and inspire the next generation of leaders in architecture through a series of eight sessions focused on such topics as political engagement, civic leadership and community engagement, business development, professional practice and equity, diversity and inclusion.

Melissa Cantrell, President of CDH Partners, believes Heli is the ideal participant who is bound to excel in this program. She said, “We are so proud to have Heli represent our firm in this year’s CKLDP class. She is a driven, avid learner and a dynamic talent in our Education + Research Studio. I am confident her intelligence and enthusiasm will be an asset as she continues to develop her leadership abilities.”

Heli is an Associate member of the AIA, and she was part of the design teams for successful projects such as Ronald E. McNair Middle School, Pope High School, Kennesaw State University and Arylessence Research and Development Facility. She received a Master of Architecture from the Savannah College of Art and Design and a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Science from Western Kentucky University.
