The 39th annual Georgia Veterans Day Parade and Veterans Festival, to honor and thank the men and women who have served and continue to serve in the U.S. armed forces during war and peacetime, will be virtual events and are scheduled to air on Saturday, Nov. 7 on several social media platforms. These virtual events will also air at The Battery Atlanta’s Georgia Power Pavilion Stage from 12:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m., after the Observance Ceremony at 11:00 am. The Observance Ceremony, hosted by the Georgia Veterans Day Association, will include a prelude by the 116th United States Army Band and a presentation of Colors, will begin at 11:00 a.m. and ends at 12:00 p.m.
A static display from the National Infantry Museum will showcase a WWII Jeep and military equipment used by the US ARMY Infantryman, the theme of this year’s Veterans Day events!
