Chicken Salad Chick Launches “Cookies for a CURE” in Support of Childhood Cancer Research this September

In honor of Childhood Cancer Awareness, the annual program benefits CURE Childhood Cancer through Chicken Salad Chick Foundation donation

Chicken Salad Chick, the nation’s only fast-casual chicken salad restaurant concept, announced today the launch of its annual Cookies for a CURE promotion as part of a nationwide initiative to raise money while supporting pediatric cancer research. Throughout September, Chicken Salad Chick will offer its limited-time Lemon Burst Buttercream Cookies at all Atlanta locations, with a portion of proceeds donated directly to its partner organization, CURE Childhood Cancer. An organization dedicated to fighting childhood cancer, Atlanta-based CURE Childhood Cancer funds targeted research and actively supports patients and their families.
September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, and the cookies will be available all month while supplies last. The limited-edition Lemon Burst Buttercream Cookies are topped with a natural lemon zest buttercream frosting, symbolizing the gold ribbon which serves as the international symbol for Childhood Cancer.
“On behalf of the entire Chicken Salad Chick family, we are filled with pride to stand beside CURE in its unwavering pursuit of a cure for pediatric cancer,” said Chicken Salad Chick President and CEO Scott Deviney. “To all our guests who choose to purchase Cookies for a Cure this month, we extend our heartfelt gratitude—your involvement will undoubtedly make a significant impact in advancing cancer research. Joining hands with the community, we feel privileged to contribute to CURE’s inspiring mission to support the youngest cancer patients and give them hope for a brighter future.”
In 2022, Chicken Salad Chick donated over $40,000 as a result of the money raised through Cookies for a CURE. Earlier this year, Chicken Salad Chick announced it raised over $475,000 through its annual Giving Card program to support local food charities and cancer research. A sizeable portion of these funds were donated directly to CURE to support the organization’s efforts to fund new research in the fight against childhood cancer.
