The Cobb Chamber and The Other Printer, Inc. were recently honored with two print excellence awards from the Printing & Imaging Association of Georgia (PIAG), an affiliate of the Printing Industries of America.
- For the Cobb Chamber’s Chairman’s Club Directory, the Chamber and The Other Printer brought home the Best of Category Award.
- For the Honorary Commanders Association Directory, they were honored with the Award of Excellence.
Each year, the Print Excellence Competition awards the best combinations of technology and craftsmanship within Georgia’s printing, imaging, and finishing community. Receiving an award in the largest, most prestigious print competition in the Southeast tells customers and prospects that winning companies produces some of the finest print available.

PIAG began servicing Georgia printers in 1894 as the Employing Printers Association (EPA). In 1945, the trade association became a charter affiliate of Printing Industries of America. The organization merged with The Association of Georgia Printers in 1976 and became the Printing Association of Georgia, Inc. (PAG). PAG changed its name to the Printing Industry Association of Georgia, Inc. in 1988. In 2004, PIAG changed its name to Printing & Imaging Association of Georgia, to better reflect the composition of the print community. PIAG’s membership includes printers, print finishers, imagers, suppliers, consultants, and educational institutions offering graphic communications instruction.
