As other states, regions and counties address the challenges of today’s economy, Cobb is positioned to do well. Since January 1, 2010, Cobb County has created a minimum of 1,650 new jobs with four new companies and one existing company expansion. These numbers do not include additional hires that are associated with key defense contractors in Cobb County.
“We are proud of these numbers and never want to accept status quo. We are continually addressing strategies that enhance our competitive edge,” said Cobb Chamber Chairman Rob Garcia.
“I am pleased with the news and a strengthened economy can only add to Cobb’s already excellent quality of life,” said Cobb County Commissioner Tim Lee.
