Cobb County Sheriff’s Office Partners with Artportunity Knocks for 4th Annual Back-2-School Cobb Event

The Cobb County Sheriff’s Office is honored to once again partner with Georgia’s leading STEAM nonprofit, Artportunity Knocks, to co-host the 4th Annual Back-2-School Cobb Event. This signature community initiative is designed to prepare students and support families across Cobb County with school supplies, educational resources, and fun, family-friendly engagement.

The event will take place on Saturday, July 26, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Jim R. Miller Park, located at 2245 Calloway Dr SW, Marietta, GA 30008. Families can register to attend at: https://bit.ly/Backtoschoolcobb2025

Last year’s event welcomed more than 2,900 attendees, including students, parents, and educators. The Sheriff’s Office is proud to join forces with community partners and sponsors once again to offer critical back-to-school support through this impactful day of service.

Event Highlights Include:

– Toddler, Kids & Teen Zones: Safe, interactive spaces for youth to enjoy games, inflatables, crafts, and enrichment activities.

– Parent Resource Zone: Access to after-school programs, health services, tutoring, and family support organizations.

– Educator Resource Zone: Free school supplies and tools for teachers to help offset personal classroom expenses.

– Concessions: Food and beverage options are available to all attendees.

Volunteer Opportunities

We encourage individuals, local businesses, and civic organizations to volunteer. Roles include activity zone support, face painting, concessions, and general assistance.

Sponsorship and Vendor Opportunities

Artportunity Knocks, a Georgia-based 501c3 Nonprofit, invites Corporations and local businesses with significant Cobb County presence to sponsor zones, student backpacks, supply kits, the Educator Zone, Concessions, Entertainment, and activities. Sponsors will be recognized for their contribution to the educational success of Cobb students.

Vendor tables are also available for organizations and small businesses that have a significant presence in Cobb and serve Cobb residents. Vendors will be supplied with 1 table and 1 chair. You would need to bring a 10×10 tent, branded tablecloth, free giveaways (no selling allowed), and a tablet/paper to capture leads. Nonprofit
