Cobb Young Professionals Scores a Hole in One for Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta

CYP

On June 21, 2013, Cobb Young Professionals held its annual charity golf outing. More than 40 players came out to Cannongate Golf Bentwater Golf Club in Acworth to participate in this event. The event, sponsored by Atlanta Blood Services and Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, raises money each year for a specific organization, chosen by the winning team.

Players assembled into foursomes based on their handicap. Each foursome chose a charity to represent, with the winning foursome’s charity receiving the total donation. This year, the winning foursome chose to represent Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. Congratulations to Jason Sleeman, Greg Smith, Tim Hancock and Kevin Booth, for winning this year’s tournament!

CYP presented CHOA with a $750 check at the end of the tournament, greatly increasing last year’s donation of $300. Congratulations to the winning team, to CHOA and to CYP for a successful charity event.
