Marietta, Georgia – August 6, 2025 | Georgia-based, full-service consulting firm Croy announced the promotion of Zach Strickland, PE, PMP as its new Director of Program Management. Stickland has spent more than a decade with Croy in a variety of roles, most recently leading the firm’s program management efforts to support the City of Smyrna, Ga. In his new role, Strickland will lead Croy’s internal program management team, oversee services for the firm’s existing program management clients, and build new relationships across Georgia.
“Zach is an invaluable member of our Croy team,” said Gregory D. Teague, PE, Chief Executive Officer of Croy. “Over the past decade, he has worked with several of our municipal clients in various capacities – from designing new park facilities and roadway infrastructure to managing complex projects that bring mobility, safety, and quality of life improvements to communities. I am confident he will build upon our program management team’s success to deliver long-term benefits to Georgia’s cities and counties.”
After earning his Civil Engineering degree from Kennesaw State University, Strickland began his career at Croy as a Program Coordinator, later advancing to the role of Program Manager. A licensed Professional Engineer (PE) and certified Project Management Professional (PMP), his experience includes civil/site and transportation design, as well as management of a range of municipal projects spanning public facilities, parks, and roadways. Strickland continues to make significant contributions to the industry through award-winning projects that improve communities across Georgia, such as the Smyrna Downtown greenspace and Windy Hill Boulevard.
“I am excited to step into this new role,” said Strickland. “It has been an absolute honor and pleasure to work for a firm that is so dedicated to the communities and clients we partner with across the Southeast. As program managers, we have the unique opportunity to support our clients’ staff and augment their efforts. In many cases, these projects are positioning communities for growth and laying groundwork for future development, accessibility, and placemaking. I take great pride in playing a role in improving the quality of life for residents.”
Strickland is based in Croy’s Marietta, Ga. headquarters, located at 200 Cobb Parkway North, Building 400, Suite 413.
