The 86th annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade will welcome a new addition to its lineup this upcoming November as the Elf on a Shelf balloon will make its debut in the skies of Manhattan. This addition will bring joy to many young faces that have grown to love the holiday tradition of Elf on a Shelf.
“We are so proud to partner with Macy’s for the Thanksgiving Day Parade! Our goal in sharing The Elf on the Shelf was to give families a tradition they could make their own, so to become a part of this timeless American tradition is beyond an honor,” said Christa Pitts, CEO of CCA and B.
The award-winning publishing company, CCA and B is based in Marietta. CCA and B published Elf on a Shelf in 2005 when a mother-daughter team, Carol Aebersold and Chandra Bell, wanted to share their own Christmas tradition with other families across the nation. Elf on a Shelf soon became a popular tradition among millions of families and still continues to gain popularity every holiday season.
Congratulations to CCA and B and Elf on a Shelf for this great opportunity to represent Cobb County in the 86th annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade!
