Excel At Math Opens in Kennesaw to Strengthen Math Skills and Confidence for Local Students

Excel At Math, a tutoring center dedicated exclusively to mathematics instruction, has officially opened in Kennesaw and recently celebrated its grand opening with a ribbon cutting in partnership with the Cobb Chamber of Commerce.

Founded by Yasmine Julien, an experienced math educator, instructional coach, and school leader, Excel At Math was established after years of working with students and teachers across multiple grade levels. Through that experience, a consistent need became clear: many students struggle not because they lack ability, but because they need focused instruction, strong foundations, and the time to truly understand the content.

The center provides personalized tutoring for students in grades K through 12, along with SAT and test preparation. Each student begins with a diagnostic assessment and receives an individualized learning plan designed to address gaps, strengthen skills, and promote steady academic growth.

Excel At Math’s mission is to provide a supportive and enjoyable math learning experience where students build confidence, develop independence, and feel good about their success. The center is designed to be a calm, structured environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, thinking critically, and gaining the skills they need to succeed both in school and beyond.

Enrollment is now open for families in Kennesaw and the surrounding Cobb County community.
