Fifth Third Financial Empowerment Mobile (eBus) Returns to Greater Atlanta

Fifth Third Bank will bring the Financial Empowerment Mobile (eBus) to South Atlanta, Norcross, Duluth and Smyrna markets from June 21-25 to provide a host of free financial wellness services which includes financial needs assessments, credits reports, job search assistance, homeownership opportunities and small business development solutions, to the community.

Equipped with 12 computer stations, the 40-foot bus visits cities across the bank’s footprint every year and will arrive in Atlanta on for a five-day stop at the Urban League Homebuyer Education Fair, Cascade Avenue West End Kroger, Singleton Square Kroger, Peachtree Hill Kroger, and Smyrna-Cobb Parkway Financial Center.  ClearPoint Credit Counseling will be on board to help participants with their free credit reports and credit counseling.

The Fifth Third Financial Empowerment eBus has scheduled stops open to the public at the following locations:

  • Cascade West End Kroger (Fifth Third Bank Mart), located at 590 Cascade Avenue SW, South Atlanta, June 21 from 2-6 p.m.  This stop is open to the public and Kroger will provide hot dogs and soft drinks to attendees. 
  • Singleton Square Kroger (Fifth Third Bank Mart), located at 6050 Singleton Road, Norcross, June 22 from 2-6 p.m.  This stop is open to the public and Kroger will provide hot dogs and soft drinks to attendees. 
  • Peachtree Hill Kroger (Fifth Third Bank Mart), located at 3455 Peachtree Industrial Blvd, Duluth, June 23 from 2-6 p.m. This stop is open to the public and Kroger will provide hot dogs and soft drinks to attendees.   
  • Fifth Third Bank Smyrna-Cobb Parkway Financial Center, located at 2197 Cobb Parkway SE, Smyrna, June 24 from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.  This stop is open to the public.     
  • Urban League of Greater Atlanta Homebuyer Education Fair, located at Atlanta Metropolitan College (1630 Metropolitan Parkway SW, South Atlanta) June 25 from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.  Fifth Third Bank will provide attendees with valuable information and resources about home mortgages and refinancing options.       

The eBus also provides free job search assistance through a partnership with NextJob, a nationwide firm focused on full employment in America.  Visitors can access the Job Seeker’s Toolkit, NextJob’s job search and training multi-media software, during the eBus event.  The program is available to all Fifth Third Bank customers and eBus guests who want to find a job or take the next step in their career path.
