Concert: March 22, 2026
First Presbyterian Church Marietta

The City of Marietta is the Presenting Sponsor of GSO’s 75th Anniversary Season.
The Georgia Symphony Orchestra (GSO) invites audiences to celebrate a milestone season with Anniversary Songbook, a special choral concert honoring the legacy and musical spirit of the GSO Chorus.
Presented on Sunday, March 22, 2026, at First Presbyterian Church Marietta, this uplifting program brings together cherished selections from past and present in a heartfelt tribute to the Chorus’s enduring impact.
Led by Bryan Black, Anniversary Songbook celebrates the depth, versatility, and artistry of the GSO Chorus through a thoughtfully curated collection of audience favorites and meaningful works. Black describes the concert as a collection of the Chorus members’ “best-loved selections from over the years,” featuring music that ranges from “the reverent and ridiculous” to beloved masterworks and folk traditions. At the center of the program is Bob Chilcott’s Little Jazz Mass, featuring piano, bass, and drums that enhance its playful style.
From reflective moments to joyful ensemble singing, the concert celebrates the voices, stories, and shared history that have shaped the Chorus across generations. Anniversary Songbook is both a look back and a joyful affirmation of the music still to come.
Join the Georgia Symphony Orchestra and GSO Chorus for an evening of remembrance, celebration, and community, as we honor 75 seasons of music-making and the choral tradition at the heart of the GSO.
Special thanks to the City of Marietta for their support of the Georgia Symphony Orchestra’s 75th Season.
