Green Tip: Cobb Libraries Energy Toolkits

Central, Hattie G. Wilson, Merchants Walk, Powder Springs, South Cobb Regional, Vinings and West Cobb Regional Libraries have resources that assist in measuring energy consumption. The newest item available for check-out is the “Kill-a-Watt” unit and toolkit that measures the energy consumption of various appliances and equipment. This is a great way to estimate electrical consumption and cost by the hour, day, week, month or year. Click here for more information.

Please be aware that in order to check out a toolkit or use library services, you will need a library card. Non-residents of Cobb County who operate a business located in Cobb County may obtain a library card at any Cobb County library. Proprietors must complete a business application and provide proof of business ownership. Upon completing the business application, a library card will be provided.
