Honeysuckle Biscuits & Bakery was created in 2018 with the desire to create a unique environment where customers can get fantastic homemade biscuits, tasty donuts or pastries, and a vast selection of cakes, pies, cookies, ice cream and more.

Founder Lori Phillips grew up on Honeysuckle Court in Smyrna baking biscuits, cakes and cookies with her mother and grandmother. After graduating from Berry College with an accounting degree, she spent the next 20 years climbing the corporate ladder and raising a family in West Cobb. She never lost the desire to own her own business and decided to start her own bakery featuring her mother’s homemade biscuit recipe with her husband Mitch.
Honeysuckle Biscuits & Bakery is extending the cafe into the retail space next door where they will be able to have an additional 48 seats, a private space for events, cake decorating classes, coffee classes, and more. In the next five years they plan to open several cafe locations in Georgia and possibly other states.
