Horace Mann, proud Cobb Chamber member, has partnered with DonorsChoose.org to help bring vital funding to schools across America. Their latest collaboration involves applying $10,000 toward DonorsChoose.org projects directly to Cobb County educators.
From now until Oct. 1, 2014, encourage your teachers to add projects. To get started, teachers should visit www.DonorsChoose.org/teacher, select “Get Started” to create a teacher account, and follow the instructions on how to submit a project. Individual meetings with teachers will also be available to show them how easy it is to submit projects.
Every teacher from Cobb County who has a project on the DonorsChoose.org website on Oct. 1, 2014 is eligible to win funding from Horace Mann. On that day, a winner will randomly be selected and their project will be fully funded until the $10,000 limit is reached.
DonorsChoose.org is an online charity that makes it easy for anyone to help students in need. Since 2011, Horace Mann has donated more than $2.5 million in classroom funding. During this time of tight school budgets, Horace Mann is honored to help Cobb’s teachers and public education system.
