The Cobb Chamber HR Roundtable event series is offering a lunch and learn on improving employee wellness on March 16. A panel of local HR professionals will discuss how employee wellbeing can positively affect a company’s bottom line.
According to the American Psychological Association (APA), 37 percent of employees say that employer-provided mental health resources can contribute to a better work environment. Employee assistance programs (EAPs) are a valuable tool to help improve an employer’s bottom line. However, while research shows EAP services can successfully improve a range of employee issues associated with lower productivity, a low percentage of employees use them.
Upcoming HR Roundtable dates and topics include:
- June 15: Recruitment & Retention Strategies
- September 12: Onboarding and Connecting a Hybrid/Virtual Workforce
- November 9: Multigenerational Workforce Trends
Registration is now open at https://bit.ly/3HZGWgq. The roundtable begins at 11:30 a.m. at the Cobb Chamber. Registration is $25 for in-person attendance and $15 for virtual attendance. This event series is open to both Cobb Chamber members and non-members.
