Baseball legend John Schuerholz will join the Cobb Chamber and the Cobb County community for the Chamber’s July First Monday Breakfast on July 8 at the Cobb Galleria Centre.
Schuerholz, current Vice Chairman of the Atlanta Braves, will share his incredible journey from Baltimore Orioles personal assistant to National Baseball Hall of Fame inductee. Widely regarded as one of the most successful general managers in the sport, he became the first general manager to lead teams in both the American and National Leagues to World Series titles. As keynote speaker, Schuerholz will highlight the lessons he learned as a team builder and how they can apply to growing businesses.
The agenda begins at 7 a.m. with coffee and networking, follows with breakfast at 7:30 a.m. and concludes at 9 a.m. First Monday Breakfast is sponsored by Kaiser Permanente.

Also at the breakfast, Leadership Cobb will recognize the achievements of its 2019 graduating class and announce its 2020 class members. Leadership Cobb, one of the Cobb Chamber’s premier leadership programs, develops leadership skills and knowledge through its programs and retreats. Participants are introduced to a variety of viewpoints that illustrate the array of economic, political, educational and social factors at work in Cobb County. Sessions combine lectures and dialogue among speakers as well as audience interaction with leaders in all facets of the community.
