The Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) and the Holmes Corporation (HC) has recognized Kennesaw State University’s College of Continuing and Professional Education as one of the Top 20 Institutions for the 2017 SHRM Learning System® course. The certificate program claimed the sixth spot this year. The achievement distinguishes the program as one of the leading Human Resources Management courses.
“Our staff, instructors and students make this a program of excellence and it is reflected in this recognition,” said Jennifer Henderson, program manager. “We are honored to partner with SHRM as we work to advance the HR profession while serving our students and our community.”
Currently, there are over 200 Education Partners delivering the SHRM Learning System course each year, according to SHRM. Of these institutions, the topmost programs were distinguished the SHRM/HC Education Partners’ Conference in Portland, Maine, earlier this month.
Pace University took the top spot among the SHRM/HC Education Partners, followed by Rice University, Fairleigh Dickinson University, George Mason University and Northern Illinois University. One other institution in Georgia made the top 20 list; the University of Georgia ranked number 14.
