Marietta, Georgia- August 4, 2025- Life University (Life U) is proud to announce that it has been named a 2024-2025 NAIA Champions of Character® Five-Star Institution, recognizing the university’s continued commitment to character-driven athletics and the holistic development of student-athletes.

Each year, the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) evaluates its member schools on their dedication to the core values of integrity, respect, responsibility, sportsmanship and servant leadership through the Champions of Character® Scorecard. Institutions that score at least 60 out of 100 points are honored as Five-Star Institutions. Life University joins an esteemed group of 210 NAIA institutions to earn this recognition for the 2024-2025 academic year.

“Being named a Champions of Character Five-Star Institution reflects the foundational values we uphold at Life University, both on and off the field,” said Life U Athletic Director Jayme Pendergast. “We are extremely proud of our student-athletes, coaches and staff for fostering a culture of excellence, integrity and servant leadership.”
