Life University (LIFE) is pleased to report that, with the arrival of its new Dean of Online and Continuing Education Dr. Richard M. Belcastro, the University has expanded its online educational programming with three new offerings.
Students may now obtain an Associate of Science in Health and Wellness, a Bachelor of Science in Biology, or begin their journey toward a Doctor of Chiropractic with LIFE’s Pre-D.C. Pathway. These programs will be joining LIFE’s established Master’s in Positive Psychology programs (General and Coaching Psychology tracks) in their online program offerings, and LIFE will be adding more new programs in the near future.
The curriculum offered in LIFE’s online courses is the same, recognized curriculum offered on their Marietta, Georgia campus, and many courses are taught by the same on-campus faculty. Additionally, LIFE solely employs adjunct professors who possess a wealth of online educational experience. LIFE’s online programs are perfect for any student, from traditional to nontraditional, as classes are accessible at any time so that students may complete their work on their own schedule.
In addition to an abundance of campus-based experience, Dr. Belcastro brings more than twelve years of online learning experience to Life University. Beginning in 2001, Dr. Belcastro was the Director of Special Education for Geneva College in Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania where he prepared pupils to become teachers of students with special needs. In 2005-2007, he served as the Director of Graduate Programs in Education for Waynesburg University, located in several sites and online. From 2007-2017, he served in various capacities with Argosy University; the most recent being Associate Vice President of Academic Operations. Dr. Belcastro is excited about the unique opportunity provided by Life University’s dynamic programs, as well as being able to bring them to the online modality.
