LOUD Security Systems, Inc., one of Georgia’s leading independently owned security providers, announced today the promotion of Eric Widner to Chief Operating Officer. Widner most recently served as General Manager and will now oversee companywide operations during a period of significant growth and transformation for the organization.
The promotion comes at a pivotal moment for LOUD Security Systems, as the company continues to expand through strategic acquisitions, workforce growth, and infrastructure investment, including the development of a new corporate headquarters and the addition of a second regional location in Warner Robins.
Eric Widner began his career with LOUD in 2003 as a Low-Voltage Technician, entering the industry with no prior security experience and learning the business from the ground up. He was promoted to Operations Manager in 2006, where he helped strengthen internal processes and support the company’s early growth. In 2015, Widner was named General Manager, assuming responsibility for companywide operations and cross-departmental leadership.

As Chief Operating Officer, Widner is positioned to navigate increasing changes in technology and lead the company’s continued growth across both residential and commercial markets.

Widner is active in the community, where he and his wife, operate StrideKidz, a nonprofit running club for children focused on developing leadership, self-esteem and healthy living. Additionally, he is a 2022 graduate of Leadership Cobb, and currently serves on the Board of Trustees for Chattahoochee Technical College, and the Board of Advisors for the Georgia Veterans Day Association.
