Even with all its challenges, 2020 has been a big year for local creative agency Clementine Creative. As the women-founded and led company marks its five-year anniversary in October, it also has five new award recognitions to add to its resume. Clementine’s work has been recognized with honors for Website Design, Website Landing Page and Creative Social Media by the international Hermes Creative Awards as well as with Top Gold awards for Best in Category and Best of Division at the annual Print Excellence Awards presented by the Print & Imaging Association of Georgia.
Clementine Creative Agency was founded in 2015 by Jennifer Minton Nilsson and Merissa Corbet Davis and has become a wellspring of creative branding, dauntless design and authentic storytelling for a diverse and growing list of clients in the metro Atlanta area and beyond. The agency initially sprang from the decade-long professional history of its two founding partners who worked together as part of an in-house corporate marketing and creative team for a prominent Atlanta-based homebuilding company.
“We share a passion for authentic storytelling in all its forms and we’ve seen how powerful that craft can be in terms of driving a brand and a business so that’s what we seek to bring to our clients every day. While it began with just the two of us, as our team has grown we’ve been able to assemble this select talented group that really shares that passion that was the original seed of Clementine Creative.”

Notable local projects include the branding and marketing launch for Marietta Square Market food hall (that work was also honored with gold awards for logo design and integrated marketing campaign in 2019) and marketing work for John Wieland’s iconic One Museum Place in the heart of Midtown.
In addition to its client work, Clementine is also an active part of the Marietta and larger metro Atlanta community. In May of 2020, Clementine launched its Locals Support Local initiative offering pro bono marketing assistance to the small business community impacted by COVID-19. For the last two years, Clementine has brought exposure and support – and a little holiday cheer – to Marietta Square merchants with the annual Merry Marietta Window Walk storefront display competition. And the team has enjoyed a number of hands-on volunteer opportunities as well, from creative card-making for Send a Smile Today cancer outreach and local seniors’ homes to packing and loading meals for Meals on Wheels.
“Giving back to the community is something that means a lot to us as a group, so we try to connect with causes that are local and have personal meaning for our team members.”

Moving ahead, Clementine looks to continue pairing its unique creative style with the team’s experienced know-how to achieve big results for clients. “We’re so grateful for the wonderful support and partnerships we’ve realized over the last five years, and we’re looking forward to continuing to build the next chapter.” For more on Clementine Creative Agency and its work, visit clementinecreativeagency.com online or @clementinecreative on Instagram and Facebook.
