WellStar Health System today announced Mary Chatman, vice president of WellStar Health System and president of Kennestone Hospital and Windy Hill Hospital, was named one of only eighteen U.S. executives to be selected for the prestigious Baldrige Executive Fellows Program. The program is named after Malcolm Baldrige, the 26th Secretary of Commerce of the United States.
The Baldrige Executive Fellows Program is a one-year, nationally ranked leadership development experience for direct reports to the most senior leader within an organization or business. The program prepares rising senior executives for impactful leadership by providing a broader perspective on how to achieve performance excellence within their organization, stimulate innovation, and enhance knowledge and capabilities for organizational sustainability.

Since its inception in 2010, the Baldrige Executive Fellows Program has been recognized with LEAD (Leadership Excellence and Development) Awards as among the very best U.S. and global continuing-education programs in leadership development. The annual awards event celebrates excellence in human resources and leadership development by recognizing and honoring corporations, educational institutions and individuals that excel in offering top leadership initiatives and programs on a local to global scale.
