Bob Heuel, CPA – Atlanta, GA Office
Bob’s focus is individual income tax compliance and planning. He also works with closely held companies and employee benefit plans. Those services include the traditional audit, review, and compilation financial reporting, consulting, planning, and tax compliance. Bob joined M&J in 2008 and has over 15 years of experience in public accounting.
James Bence, CPA – Atlanta, GA Office
James graduated from Mercer University with a BBA in Accounting and Finance. He primarily serves a wide range of state and local governmental entities and has worked solely with governments since joining the firm in 2003. James and his wife, Tiffany, and their twins, Wyatt and Allie, reside in Woodstock, Georgia.
Matt Hill, CPA – Chattanooga, TN Office
Matt graduated with a Master of Accounting and BBA in Accounting from the University of Georgia in 1999. He currently resides in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Matt has over 16 years of experience in public accounting, all with M&J, serving a wide range of clients in the public services industry. His experience with the firm covers a variety of state and local government organizations.
Dianne Kopczynski, CPA, CIA – Bradenton, FL Office
Dianne has over 20 years of auditing experience in the financial institution, higher education, not-for-profit, employee benefit plan, construction and various for profit industries. She is also a Certified Internal Auditor and has a comprehensive understanding of internal company processes and procedures. Originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Dianne relocated to Bradenton, Florida in 2005 with her husband Karl and their two kids Joshua and Emily.
Christian Bennett, CPA – Chattanooga, TN Office
Christian graduated in 2000 from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and a concentration in Accounting. He focuses on providing auditing, accounting and consulting services for financial institutions, not-for-profit organizations and employee benefit plans. Christian and his wife, Lisa, live in Hixson, Tennessee with their four children.

Carl Garner, CPA –
Carl received his Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting from the University of West Georgia in 1981. He has focused his career on taxation of closely held businesses, high net worth individuals and non-profits. He is a firm-wide tax resource in mergers and acquisitions, tax controversy and real estate. Carl represents individuals, corporations, partnerships and non-profit entities before the Internal Revenue Service and the Georgia Department of Revenue at both the examination and appellate levels. He has served as an expert witness for tax matters in US District Court and the US Bankruptcy Court. He lives in Marietta, Georgia with his wife Cindy.
David Irwin, CPA – Macon, GA Office
David graduated with a Masters of Accountancy and BBA in Accounting from Georgia College & State University in Milledgeville, Georgia in 2003. He has over 12 years of experience in public accounting, all with M&J, serving a wide range of clients in the public services industry. His experience with the firm covers a variety of state and local government organizations.
