Mayor Owens and Cobb Works to Host a Career Fair as Part of Riverside EpiCenter’s 10-year Anniversary

Mayor Michael Owens and the City of Mableton are excited to announce the upcoming Career Fair, a collaborative effort with Cobb Works the Riverside EpiCenter in celebration of its 10th anniversary. This event, scheduled for January 6th, aims to bring together job seekers and businesses, creating a valuable platform for networking and talent exchange within the community.

Date & Time: Saturday, January 6, 2024, 11 am – 3 pm EST

Location: Riverside EpiCenter, 135 Riverside Parkway, Mableton, GA 30168

 

The event anticipates a turnout of over 200 registered guests, reflecting the community’s eagerness for professional development and networking opportunities. This event serves as a crucial link between job seekers and employers, fostering meaningful interactions and potential career advancements. Employers attending the fair will have the opportunity to engage with motivated individuals seeking both full- and part-time employment opportunities across a variety of industries.

Mayor Owens shares his enthusiasm, stating, “The significant number of registered guests underscores the importance of creating employment and professional growth opportunities in Mableton. I’m looking forward to greeting all of the attendees and employers. I’m especially happy that Six Flags Over Georgia will be joining us and that as a City we will also be participating as we have openings that we are looking to fill.”

In addition to the career fair, the Riverside EpiCenter’s 10th-anniversary celebration will feature a fitness boot camp, exhibitors, a film screening, food trucks, live podcasts, giveaways, and more.
