The Continuing Education program offered at KSU will provide students a chance to enhance their professional skills
For individuals who desire to enter or advance their career as a professional logistician, the College of Continuing and Professional Education at Kennesaw State University has a new option programmed to begin on April 15 – the Supply Chain Management Certificate.
“Supply chain managers work in nearly every industry,” said Tracy Jordan, program manager for the Supply Chain Management Certificate. “This program will provide students the foundation they need to gain introductory level experience in the supply chain industry.”
The seven-week Supply Chain Management program is led by Benjamin Tolber, an expert instructor who possesses more than a decade of relevant industry experience in information technology, operations and supply chain management. Course topics of study include supply chain overview, demand planning, transformation of demand and supply, supply, logistics, quality control, supply chain IT and supply chain globalization. Ideal candidates for this program include individuals with a background in manufacturing, retail, hospitality, military, project management and Lean Six Sigma.
“If you need an understanding of the effective flow of goods and services from the point-of-origin to the point-of-consumption to meet customer requirements, then this program is for you,” Jordan said.
The Supply Chain Management program is approved for several forms of financial aid including VA Education Benefits, WIOA Funding and Continuing Education Loans.
