Nobis Works, a Marietta-based nonprofit, is proud to announce the arrival of Eric Pfeifer as Director of Development.
In this role, Mr. Pfeifer will lead all fundraising activities, including the organization’s annual Galaxy of Stars luncheon, which provides a platform to recognize the achievements of individuals with disabilities and the community champions that support them. Mr. Pfeifer has a proclivity for establishing and strengthening relationships with key communities and partners, and his fundraising and marketing expertise make him an invaluable asset in achieving the organization’s short and long-term goals.
Mr. Pfeifer is enthusiastic about his new leadership role with Nobis Works because of his belief in the organization’s mission to empower people through employment. “I am very proud and excited to be joining the team because Nobis Works envisions supportive communities where people with disabilities are afforded the opportunity to work. I feel honored to be able to serve the organization and expand its reach, especially during this time of celebration,” Mr. Pfeifer says. This year, Nobis Works is celebrating its 40th anniversary.
With 25 years of experience in the nonprofit field and a proven history of development and organizational success, Mr. Pfeifer is an adept leader. Prior to joining Nobis Works, he served at both the Georgia State Games Commission and the United States Soccer Federation’s National State Associations as Executive Director and Chief Marketing Officer. He received his Bachelor of Science in Marketing and Master of Arts in Marketing and Management from the University of Maryland.
Nobis Works’ President & CEO Dave Ward is confident in Mr. Pfeifer’s expertise and leadership. “I admire Eric and his passion to make a difference. He has spent his entire career focused on bringing people together for the greater good. I am excited that he is a part of the Nobis Works family,” says Mr. Ward.
