North Cobb Students Visit Georgia Trade School

North Cobb VisitGeorgia Trade School, the nation’s premier independent welding school, recently hosted multiple classes from the Construction Program at North Cobb High School.

The North Cobb Construction Program is led by Brent Branning, a former project engineer with a degree in Construction Management from Florida A&M University. Both North Cobb High School and Georgia Trade School are members of the Cobb Workforce Partnership.

“I think most students don’t think they can be successful in life unless they have a college degree,” said Brent Branning, a North Cobb High School teacher. “They don’t realize the knowledge and skill that is involved, and the opportunities available, in the different trades. I think they also are surprised by the amount of money you can make as a skilled trade worker.”
