November 9 Marquee Monday Welcomes Georgia Power President and CEO Kim Greene

The Cobb Chamber’s Marquee Monday event series, presented by Superior Plumbing, continues on Nov. 9with Kim Greene, Chairman, President and CEO of Georgia Power, for a timely conversation on the initiatives shaping Georgia’s energy future.

As Georgia continues to experience unprecedented growth and rising energy demand, Georgia Power is making significant investments to prepare for what’s ahead. Greene will share insight into the company’s 2026 priorities, including efforts to expand electric generation capacity, scale renewable energy programs such as CARES, and introduce new customer affordability initiatives all while meeting the evolving energy needs of Georgia’s communities and businesses.

With more than 30 years of experience in the energy industry and leadership roles spanning engineering, operations, finance and strategy, Greene brings a unique perspective on the opportunities and challenges facing Georgia’s rapidly growing economy.

Also, during this event, we will continue to celebrate our local educators through our Give Our Schools A Hand program by presenting the Cobb County School District and Marietta City School’s district-level Teachers of the Year with a one-year car lease from Voyles Automotive Group.
